Let’s Look At A Calendar
(Finland X Male!Reader)
~ Slight Angst Alert ~
You laid down in the middle of the snow, without a jacket, without a shirt, just lying there staring at the sky. You blinked whenever a snowflake landed on your face, you didn’t really care what happened anymore now that your childhood friend was gone.
Closing your eyes, you let your mind wonder. You had long since forgotten the exact date ever since you had laid outside, it was surprising to you how you had yet to die. The white snow falling from the grey clouds; the bare trees surrounding the ‘field’ around you; the footsteps that were coming up behind you as you felt a jacket fall down on you.
Opening your eyes, you looked up at the blonde stranger who seemed to be holding what looked like a small dog.
“Hey there, are you alright?”
You opened your mouth to speak but found that you had no words left to say. You simply laid there and let the stranger help you up and lead you to an unknown place.
“Why did you help me?”
The stranger, whose name you later found to be Tino, turned around from soaking a rag with warm water before walking over to you and placing it on your forehead.
“It’s almost Christmas day! Shouldn’t you be with your family?”, you could’ve sworn you heard him say something else as well but dismissed it.
“I don’t really care about that.” , you scoffed. “Plus, it’s November.”
Tino looked shocked about what you said, but said look quickly dismissed from his face as it was replaced with a small smile. You watched as he got up and grabbed what looked like a calendar before putting it in front of your face, displaying a bunch of red x marks and a circle around the 25th of December.
“See? How long have you been in that snow storm anyways?”
Tino looked curiously and innocently at you, and you looked away with a vibrant blush on your face; Tino was much too adorable for his own good.
Tino faintly smiled, before grabbing onto your hand.
“Don’t worry. You can tell me some other time, (name).”
